Our Forestry Services -
With Ash Dieback now widespread across the UK, managing infected trees is a priority for many landowners. We provide expert assessments to monitor the health of your Ash stock and identify trees that have become a safety risk. Our team is experienced in the removal of brittle, diseased Ash trees, using controlled methods to ensure they are brought down safely before they pose a danger to public paths, highways, or property.
Ash Dieback Management
Proper woodland management relies on creating the right balance of light and space. Our thinning services involve the selective removal of poorer-quality trees, allowing the strongest specimens the room they need to reach their full potential. We also provide traditional coppicing—an ancient method of cutting back specific species to ground level to encourage vigorous new growth. This sustainable cycle not only produces usable timber but also significantly boosts local biodiversity and woodland health.
Thinning & Coppicing
We handle the entire process of bringing timber from the stump to the sawmill. Our team manages the harvesting of stood timber using efficient, low-impact methods to protect the forest floor and surrounding crop. Beyond the felling, we assist in the grading and marketing of the timber, ensuring that the wood is directed to the most appropriate markets—whether that’s high-grade sawlogs, fencing, or biomass—to maximise the value of your woodland's natural resources.
